Capri Dinnerware Collection

WHO: Frontgate – Collection with Donatella Arpaia 

Working with Frontgate I had the opportunity to design a dinnerware collection for celebrity chef Donatella Arpaia’s culinary line. This collection displays a unique graphic design of vivid turquoise and metallic gold reverberated against pristine white melamine dinnerware. 

When designing this collection I worked directly with the merchandising team and they received input/ direction from Donatella Arpaia. After trend research, painting, and sketching I began to digitize artwork and hone the style/pattern of each plate. It was important to keep in mind that centers of the plates were to remain white in-order to display the beautiful food placed upon it and that these items were to feel like luxurious statements for summertime entertainment. The final product is a unique multi-level pattern design fit for any outdoor dining occasion.
